Bon Appétit’s deputy editor Julia Kramer visited more than 200 restaurants in 34 cities across America to determine the best new restaurants, and Nashville’s own Tailor has earned its place amongst the top 10. Released by Bon Appétit today, Tailor comes in at number 7, on the magazine’s prestigious annual Hot 10 list of America’s best new restaurants.


"It is such a huge and unexpected honor to be recognized as one of the best new restaurants in the country, and we are humbled to be in the company of restaurants we admire and can't wait to visit," said Vivek Surti, culinary creator of Tailor.

"Our recognition, however, is truly a testament to our entire Nashville community, and this is as much a great recognition for them as it is for us. There is no better place to live in America than Nashville, Tenn. There is so much more to this town that most people realize. We are proud to play a small role in the scene, and we are honored to represent our hometown on the national stage. This is a win, not just for our team, but for our city as well.
